I have the same bike, but mines a 75 FX Kick start. I'm installing mid controls like yours. I got the left side mid mount plate from VISIONARY CYCLES. I'm working on mounting the foot peg to the plate. I'm going to have to make something for it to mount to.... like tap a dowel for it. Will you please describe to me how you done it? Also, I really like both of the shorty rear fenders you've had on the 81. I'm about to make one myself, or hunt down something cool for it. Your bike is the style I love. Those LNSPLTBLVD guys on RUclips ride the bad ass style Bobber/chopper Shovels also. They made some cool Honda Shadows also (never thought I'd ever see a cool Honda but them guys do it!) This will be my second time "rebuilding" my old Shovel, and I never tire of it! They are never finished, are they?! Ha ha ha I love it tho! SHOVELHEADS RULE!!!
Yeah I think yours (the stay) has a clevis mount welded to it. That's what I'm doing now. I was also looking at the Speed/shifter from Speed Club inc. but not sure if I trust only 2 bolts on the tranny to hold it on... I'm just strippin' this shovel down to the bare minimum. Got a new open primy for it, an the whole nine! Peace.
@@KnockGarage haha im sure. thats how i got mine now but dont really want to use springs on the back part. thought maybe you had rubber pieces back there
Such a cool shovel.

The mid control plate I'm wearing seems to be a little different from the VISIONARY CYCLES. The stay for the foot peg is welded.

Very nice. Reminded me of the National Park in the Great Smoky Mountains. There is a spot in the road like that with a similar wall.
This is a very nice place in Japan
